Stephanie grew up in Pomona, the youngest in the family of six girls. She met Jesus as a youngster, and remembers fondly the day she and her father were baptized together. Stephanie’s volunteering in the Church office has now led to her bringing value to the Church through her staff role.
In 1984, Stephanie became a licensed Cosmetologist, a position she held for 14 years. After the birth of her daughter, she went back to school and graduated from Victor Valley College, where she discovered a love for writing. A wearer of many hats, she worked in the Accounting Department of TRL Systems in Rancho Cucamonga for 13 years. She was also hired as a Staff Writer for H. D. Living Magazine in 2008–a position still held today. She has also became the author of a children’s book in 2016.
Stephanie married Wayne, the love of her life in 2010, and they soon found themselves buying a home in Crestline. Nudged by Our Father, they began attending Lake Gregory Community Church where Wayne met Jesus and was born anew. “LGCC taught us what a valuable blessing it is to Connect, Grow, and Serve.”
Wayne and Stephanie began serving as Greeters, and became members of the Branches LIFE Group. Stephanie finds the Christ-centered relationships, growth, and encouragement that LGCC inspires, invaluable. When not serving or writing articles, Stephanie cherishes time with her beloved family and pets.
We have interns regularly involved in our work together. We are presently receiving applications for a summer intern in Audio Visual ministry. Interested persons may contact Pastor Dan for more information.
