"The Parenting Journey" Part 6
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Most guys have a hard time with traffic. Unconsciously, we want to "win" and get to our destination faster than others around us. Someone cutting in front of us, driving stupid, or sitting at a green light in front of us while looking at a cell phone triggers something in us. Yet, we are also keeping our eye on the yellow truck on the freeway and feeling that if we can just get to the exit before it, we will feel better about the trip.
God calls us to stop comparisons, to confess mistakes, and to stay focused on making progress in our own "Parenting Journey." This Father's Day weekend, we will talk about easy "wins" at home and how to make real progress with our families.
Your kids will be grateful that you take this message to heart. Come out with the whole family and be a part of this final message in "The Parenting Journey" message series.
