Table Talk, 24 Hours with Jesus, pt 2

Dear Church Family and Friends,  

The evening meal finished, and all the plates and wine glasses have been cleared from the table. There is tension and excitement in the air, as the disciples know there is something different about this Passover Seder. The 12 are down one, as Judas has already grabbed his loaf of bread and headed out into the night. It was a dark night indeed. Betraying the Author of Life with a kiss was just a few hours away.

Back in the upper room, Jesus leans forward at the table. As He leaned in, the tone and volume of His voice changed. The 11 follow suit and lean in as the table talk gets serious. There are a few more truths Jesus wants to convey before heading to the Garden of Gethsemane. These are encouraging truths you don’t want to miss.

There is a seat for you at the table this weekend.
