Dan's Den
Critical Connections in Christ (Colossians 4:7-18)
Dear Church Family and Friends,
The older a person gets, the more important certain relationships become. One's focus starts to move away from "client/transactional" relationships to family and friends, many of whom have been in the person's life for decades.
In Christ-centered community, those family members and friends in the Lord with whom we have served and forged a closeness become critical to keeping perspective and finishing well. Jesus guides us into life-long relationships in the family of God that help us to finish our journey with him well. Even though Paul was often traveling and making new acquaintances in Christ, he had several lasting friendships and partnership relationships. Those relationships were important for a variety of reasons, especially in light of the uncertain future he faced.
May the Lord use this Sunday's message to inspire in you a value of building lasting relationships with others in the family of God. May it also inspire you to be living purposeful in those relationships until Jesus returns.
Love and prayers,
Pastor Dan
