"The Parenting Journey" Part 5
Dear Church Family and Friends,
We are very prone to imitate those we view as our heroes or people we admire and want to be like. Children do the same thing. Think of the boy who dresses up as Spider-Man and is casting webs all over the house to rescue his toys from injustice. Or imagine the girl who dresses as a princess and sings, "Let it Go," as she slams the door to her room and magically brings every stuffed animal to life!
God created us to learn from examples and to discern life lessons through questions. We innately tend to imitate what we are impressed by. We want to know more and understand how our heroes think about life. The ultimate example to follow is Jesus and those who are closely seeking to follow Him.
Come out this Sunday for encouragement to be an example for the next generations and to seek to rightly answer their questions about why we follow Jesus Christ.
