A Prayer for You in Christ, Living in Christ, part 1

Dear Church Family and Friends,  

Do you remember how life began to change when you met a special someone and started building a relationship? The days seemed brighter, more hopeful. You got up with anticipation of seeing this person and continuing to experience life together. When a person receives Jesus Christ into their lives, similar, but even more powerful things happen.  
Being in a restored relationship with Jesus Christ energizes our hearts to live to please God, to work for life-giving outcomes, enabling us to grow in our knowledge of God and His will, and providing us strength to persevere through challenges. When we really know Jesus Christ, we overflow with thanks to God for being adopted into His family, for being rescued, restored and completely forgiven.  

This is what God longs for all of us and that inspired Paul's prayer for the Christians at Colossae. (See Colossians 1:9-14) May you be inspired by this prayer this Sunday. This prayer 100% applies to your life and relationships today. Know that the leaders of this Church are praying this for you.
