Loyalty Rewarded in Tough Times, Just Like You pt 2
Dear Church Family and Friends,
The popular culture had shifted away from loyalty to God. People were doing strange things in their relationships with others--perverted, selfish things. Loss of life had no bigger story to frame it. Grief and hardship were common. Oppression from regional bullies prevailed.
Sound familiar? It ought to, because even though the history is set in the time of the Judges of Israel, it mirrors our own. The people and their experiences in many ways were very much like our experiences and challenges.
Come out this Sunday for the 2nd message in the series, "Just Like You," with a relevant and timely message from the Old Testament book of Ruth. Invite a friend to join you THIS Sunday to be inspired to trust God through their tough circumstances by learning that loyalty is rewarded even in tough times.
