Overcoming: The Message of Life, part 2.
Dear Church Family and Friends,
How do we know that we have come to know Jesus Christ? What shows that we have come into the light of the truth in Him? How will we be able to go the distance in these last days? The Apostle John makes it clear that the true believer in Jesus Christ will evidence the new life made possible by Him. The true child of God evidences love for Jesus by their obedience to what He has commanded us. The true child of God will also resist a worldly lifestyle, overcoming spiritual darkness by continuing in the light of the Lord. Also, the true child of God will remain true through to the end of life in this world. It doesn't mean we don't sin, but that the habitual pattern of our life, our connection to the body of Christ, and our confession will persistently honor Jesus.
Come out this Sunday and be encouraged to overcome and have greater confidence in Christ!
