Dear Church Family and Friends,

Confession: The first time I ever went snowboarding with friends, I lied about my riding experience and ability. I made myself out to be better than I actually was at the time. On the very first run, we went to the top of Mt. High to ride their black diamond (expert level) run. It took me two hours to get down the run just one time. I didn’t have the skill, experience, or proper equipment to navigate the terrain.

It turns out the size, shape, and type of lens you use for snowboarding goggles actually matter. The goggles you wear should match the conditions you’re riding in.

We live in fascinating times. Do your lens (or worldview) match the conditions we currently live in? All of us have a worldview that helps us make sense of the world we live in, but not all worldviews are created equal. Now is as good a time as ever to “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).

See you Sunday as we take a deep dive into Romans 1.

Love and prayers,
Brandon
