Calibrated, Part 4
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Confession: The first time I ever went snowboarding with friends, I lied about my riding experience and ability. I made myself out to be better than I actually was at the time. On the very first run, we went to the top of Mt. High to ride their black diamond (expert level) run. It took me two hours to get down the run just one time. I didn’t have the skill, experience or proper equipment to navigate the terrain. It turns out the size, shape, and type of lens you use for snowboarding goggles actually matter.
All of us have a worldview that helps us make sense of the world we live in, but not all worldviews are created equal. Some worldviews are lacking. Atheism is a worldview obsessed with the scientific method, but important things in life such as meaning and purpose go far beyond the scope of the scientific method. So we see that science is both wonderful and wonderfully limited.
See you Sunday as we take a deep dive into Romans 1.
Love and prayers,
Brandon
