Dan's Den
Accepting Life's Limits, part 2 in the mini-series called, "Margins."
Dear Church Family and Friends,
There is a flaw in the vision of the rugged individual who guts it out alone through all challenges, wins every battle, saves people and stands victoriously unscathed and confident in spite of any adversary. That individual doesn't exist in real life. No one can go through all of life alone with limitless energy and no boundaries.
Every human being has limits. Jesus worked within self-imposed limits in order to provide the perfect rescue for humanity. God helps us recognize our capabilities and our limits and to work within them for his glory. He gave us a body that gets tired and sick on occasion in this world. We need sleep and food and emotional margins. We need others to partner with to tackle overwhelming problems and pressures. We were meant to function in God's purpose in a healthy way with the help of God and others.
This Sunday, be encouraged to understand and to operate within your God-given limits. God will work beyond what we can ask or imagine according to his power at work within us!
Love and prayers,
Pastor Dan
