Praise & Thanks to God
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Have you ever felt compelled to pause and give praise and thanks to God? While we should be grateful to and praise God every day throughout the day, there are those special moments of awareness that God has been very gracious with us.
When that awareness comes, we should take the time to let His grace soak in and reflect back our gratitude.. 1 Chronicles 29:10-20 records a special prayer of David after the leaders and the people had given generously to build the temple. In it we see a very healthy perspective on our ability to give.
Everything in heaven and on earth is God's, and our ability to give generously comes from Him. So we pause and praise and thank the Lord for what He has done. May this Sunday's time together help all of us be more deeply aware of where our blessings come from and to give God the praise and thanks that he alone is worthy.
