Overcoming Evil
Dear Church Family and Friends,
It would be absurd to rescue people from life threatening situations and not address the root problems and behaviors that got them there. Can you imagine ignoring someone's personal issues that repeatedly crash their lives and relationships? Yet we are living in a culture that ignores personal responsibility for actions and consequences.
The invitation to come into the kingdom of God is a call away from sin. We are admonished to turn away from sin and turn to God. The Lord has gracious provided the way to be restored, but we must turn and trust in Jesus.
That trust will be evidenced by walking in the way of God with Him. Let this Sunday inspire in a fresh way our call to walk away from destructive ways into the way of freedom, joy and peace in Jesus.
