For the Mountain: Christ
Dear Church Family and Friends,
Extraordinary things are sometimes difficult for us to wrap our hearts and minds around. But, when we can accept that something fantastic has happened, even something supernatural, it can positively change our lives. This Sunday, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
The eye-witness testimony supports that he was raised from the dead by the power of God. It confirmed his claim to be the Son of God and the One who is able to rescue and restore us to life with God. The resurrection of Jesus makes sense if you consider what it says about who He is. He is unique among all people who have ever been on this planet. Within the RIM of the World Mountain Communities we and other local Churches offer something unique to the people who live here.
Over the next three Sunday mornings in a short series called, "For the Mountain," we are going to highlight these unique things we offer to you and all of our neighbors who call this beautiful place home. This Sunday we will be focused on the most important of these three things: Christ! We seek to take to heart and make known the person and message of Jesus Christ. We pray that this Sunday's gatherings will inspire faith in Jesus, and that by believing, you may experience forgiveness and a restored life with God.
Love and prayers,
Pastor Dan
