The Best Relationships-JOY
Dear Church Family and Friends,
This week we will continue the series titled: “The Best Relationships.” It is focused on the “Fruit of the Spirit” as described in Galatians 5:22-23. When most of the world thinks of joy they make it synonymous with happiness, but the difference between joy and happiness is substantial. There is a big difference between joy and happiness. Happiness is a reaction to something great. Joy is the product of someone great.
Whereas joy is specifically stated, even in the dictionary, as “the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires; the expression or exhibition of such emotion.” As followers of Christ we see success and the possessing of our desires directly connected to our fulfilling God’s plan and purpose for our lives.
As Christ followers, we have seen and have the ability to see what is hidden from the rest of the world. Christians and non-believers only experience joy when they fulfill God’s plan and purpose in their lives. This Sunday, join us as we continue our journey through the “Fruit of the Spirit” with the next part- JOY.
Love and prayers,
Pastor Brady
